This is not your average course. Teacher to student ratio is set at maximum 1:4 this gives students the best chance of understanding the systems, tools and technologies required to promote your website over the internet. The course is for beginners or those with a little bit of knowledge, many of the tips, hints and workarounds would be considered advanced.

The course is run by James Pybus who has over 20 years’ experience in website marketing.

Pre-course work - In order you get the very best from the course you will need to carry out some pre work which you will use during the course.

• Choose a Topic/subject of interest.
• Write some text for your new website project
• Find some images for your new website project
• Ensure you have access to a Gmail account

• Domain hostings and servers
• Website marketing theory

• -   The 3 main search engines GYB.
• -   Date stamps
• -   Page titles
• -   Images
• -   Meta descriptions
• -   Meta keywords
• -   Link building
• -   PR and Trust
• -   Anchor text
• -   Submissions
• -   Lens, squidoos
• -   articles and press releases
• -   Social media
• Keyword Research – Hands on
• Setting up user accounts

Overnight a website will be built with your chosen domain which will be available for the second day, practical lessons.

Day Two – practical

• Recap on day one
• Different types of websites and templates.
• Intro and benefits to website package we will be using
• Website administration – Hands on
• Add content + images + keywords (content already prepared) – Hands on
• Optimisation based on principles learnt in day one. – Hands on
• Sitemaps and RSS feeds – hands on
• Website statistics – hands on
• Adding advertising to your website to make money – hands on
• Cool tools for website marketing – hands on

You will be given the Option to buy the website you have produced over the 2 days course. (Available as a one off payment £499 or on an easy payment scheme of £50.00 per month over 12 months)
